Confidence that comes from experience
Siepser Eyecare Specialists solve many vision problems that other doctors can’t or won’t consider, including Astigmatism, high-diopter, and thin cornea. In our 40 years, the Siepser Eyecare team has performed well over 35,000 laser eye procedures. Our patients continue to benefit from improvements to blurry vision caused by refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and more. Many of these patients have partially or completely eliminated the need for reading glasses.
Our Specialists are constantly learning and expanding their base of knowledge. Siepser Eyecare Specialists now offer truly customized vision correction for even difficult and complicated vision challenges.
our main services
LASIK is a type of laser refractive surgery that reshapes the cornea to produce clear vision. The procedure takes about 5 minutes on each eye and patients typically return to their normal routine within 24 hours.
A cataract is a clouding of the lenses in your eyes affecting your vision. Cataracts are very common in older people. By age 80, more than half of all Americans either have a cataract or have had cataract surgery.

At Siepser Eyecare, we believe that in order to provide our patients with the best care, nothing can be “one size fits all”. We don’t standardize care or rush as many patients through our practice as possible, because we believe there is still a place in eye care for a team you can trust to handle your case with a familiar, personal touch.
As many of you know, I specialize in ocular surface disease at Siepser Eyecare. And I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to many things, particularly when it comes to the ocular surface. When I see spots of dead cells on my patients corneas that are indicative of dry eye or tears that continue to evaporate just a touch too easily, I can’t help but continue to explore what else we can do to clean that surface up.
Cataracts are blockages in the path of light passing through the human lens. The human lens is a clear and colorless structure, which focuses light on the back of the eye. This structure can change with age, become opaque, whitish or have anterior or posterior surface changes.
At SLEC we have redirected our efforts to not only explain a particular procedure or diagnosis but also to be sure that patients fully comprehend our explanation. It is just human nature to gloss over a serious situation.
What a tongue twister, the Siepser Sliding Slip knot. The Siepser Sliding Slip Knot is a procedure that allows more sutures to be added in any meridian of the defect without over tensioning the iris.
